Why visit

More than a photo stop

CoastViewpoint & Walk

Taejongdae occupies the southern end of Yeongdo, where dense woodland gives way to high cliffs and open water. The park’s scale and geology make it feel removed from the city even though the harbor and downtown are not far away.

The complete visit is a loop rather than a single overlook. Forest roads connect the observatory and lighthouse approaches, while steeper paths descend toward cliff and pebble-shore viewpoints. Choose the walking depth to match the group.

Best for: Geology, forest walks, and a less urban view of Busan’s coast
