Why visit

More than a photo stop

CoastViewpoint & Walk

Oryukdo marks the dramatic southern end of a coast that continues north through Igidae. Around the skywalk and sunrise park, the sea opens toward the islets; farther along the trail, cliffs and woodland repeatedly reveal views of Gwangan Bridge and Marine City.

The full Igidae route is a real coastal walk, not a short urban promenade. A private itinerary can choose a manageable segment, preserve time for photo stops, and finish at a pickup point instead of requiring every traveler to complete the same distance.

Best for: Active travelers, coastal geology, and wide views back toward the city

Terrain

Beyond the easy skywalk approach, Igidae includes repeated stairs, roots, rocks, and uneven cliffside sections.

Trailheads and headline lookouts are busiest on clear weekends; longer sections feel quieter.

Season & weather

Avoid exposed trail segments in strong wind, heavy rain, ice, or poor visibility.

Reservations
