Busan Tower · Yongdusan Park
Why visit
Yongdusan Park rises directly behind Nampo’s shopping streets, giving the old downtown a calm elevated center. Busan Tower is the visual anchor, while monuments, trees, and open plazas spread around its base.
Even without ascending the tower, the park helps make sense of the surrounding district. With the observation deck added, the view reaches across the port, hills, bridges, and dense neighborhoods that shape central Busan.
Best for: Old-downtown orientation, a short park break, and elevated city views

Plan it well
Uphill access, escalators or steps, then paved paths
Approaches are uphill, although escalator access can reduce the climb from parts of Nampo.
The park is generally spacious; tower queues can grow around sunset and on weekends.
Haze affects long views, while clear late afternoons show the city’s layers best.
The park is open without a ticket. Check current tower admission and operating information before building the observation deck into a timed itinerary.
Operating conditions can change. Confirm current access, tickets, and closures with the official source before your visit.
